What’s New in Puppet Enterprise?
New Support for IBM AIX
With the addition of IBM AIX, in Puppet Enterprise 2.8, we now offer the most comprehensive coverage of enterprise IT platforms, boosting system administrators’ productivity by enabling them to automate the management of heterogeneous IT environments with a single solution. Learn more.
Node Request Management
This new capability enables system administrators to view and respond to requests graphically, from within the Puppet Enterprise console. Nodes can now be approved or rejected without requiring access to the puppet master. For further security, only users with read/write privileges can take action on node requests. Learn more.
Third-Party Authentication Support
The Puppet Enterprise console now supports the use of third-party authentication services such as LDAP, Active Directory or Google Apps Directory. Now, users of Puppet Enterprise can be managed and authenticated leveraging your existing infrastructure. Learn more.
